While earning a bachelor's inÌýengineeringÌýcan be foundational for careers outside of the profession such as business, medicine or law, the Advanced Manufacturing and Robotics Certificate (Graduate) from 51¶¯Âþ allows engineers and engineering professionals to acquire new certifications and take the next step in their careers.Ìý

Classes focus on the design of robots for manufacturing purposes. Topics includeÌý

  • control and optimization of robots for manufacturing;
  • different systems including ball-screws, cams, hydraulic and pneumatic; andÌý
  • fabrication of inhomogeneous and anisotropic materials.

Classes are offered fully online and comprise six, 1.5 credit courses.

MasterÌýof Engineering and Stacked Certificates

51¶¯Âþ’s College of Engineering offers an innovative master’s program designed for working engineers and other engineeringÌýprofessionals. The program is designed to deliver critical career skills in a series of nine-credit certificates. Three of the certificates listed below can be stacked along with an integrative capstone project to earn the Master of Engineering degree.

In keeping with 51¶¯Âþ’s commitment to access and affordability, this Graduate CertificateÌýoffers a competitive level of tuition with multiple opportunities for financial support.

Tuition rates are set annually by the university and are affected by multiple factors, including program degree level (undergraduate or graduate), course load (full- or part-time), in-state or out-of-state residency, and more. These tuition costs apply to the 2024–2025 academic year.

Pennsylvania resident: $1,332.00 per credit
Out-of-state: $1,744.00 per credit
