Klein Scholarships

All 51动漫 students are automatically considered for聽. There are also聽 补苍诲听 available for all students.聽.

In addition to university scholarships and financial aid, there are several internal and external scholarships available through Klein College of Media and Communication.聽

Below are examples of scholarships available to incoming first-year and enrolled Klein students.聽

  • The is open to incoming first-year Klein students who graduated from urban high school districts and have financial need.

  • The George P. and Martina Jennings Endowed Scholarship Fund is open to Klein students in any major in their junior year who demonstrate financial need and have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

  • The Robert Shackleton Endowed Scholarship Fund is open to students majoring in film and media arts, theater, or media studies and production and gives preference to those interested in on-screen or public performance.

Department Scholarships

A range of scholarships are聽offered to students in the Department of Media Studies and Production. Those opportunities include the following.

  • The Alexander Magid Scholarship Fund听补苍诲 Leon Fisher Scholarship Fund聽are both open to聽incoming first-year students who exhibit academic excellence and professional promise. Students must have a demonstarted financial need.
  • The Robert Shackleton Endowed Scholarship Fund聽gives preference to students interested in onscreen or public performance. Students must have completed two or more years of undergraduate coursework and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. They聽must also have a demonstrated interest in public performance and demonstrated financial need.

Federal Stafford Loans

Applying for federal Stafford loans requires completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). At 51动漫, unsubsidized Stafford loans are available to full-time students up to a maximum amount of $20,500 annually.

Federal Work-study

Eligibility for the Federal Work-study Program is based on the applicant鈥檚 need as determined by the information on the applicant鈥檚 FAFSA. In addition, students must be enrolled at least half time and maintain satisfactory academic progress. Students are paid biweekly for hours worked.
