Completed in four to five years, the Pharmaceutical Sciences PhD curriculum emphasizes a deep understanding of chemical synthesis, controlled release dosage forms, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, mechanisms of drug action, pharmaceutical analysis, and solid dosage forms.
