Charles E. Krausz Library
Named in honor of Charles Krausz, a former dean of the 51动漫 School of Chiropody, whose exemplary work has contributed to the field of podiatry, the is a primary resource for TUSPM students. It contains textbooks on reserve, desktop and laptop computers, online databases, periodicals and journals, study rooms, and scanning and printing services. Expert staff members are also available to help students with research.聽聽聽
Foot and Ankle Institute
Offering advanced diagnostic, injury prevention and treatment of the foot and ankle, is home to a team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons who are committed to restoring lower extremity function with minimal pain. Starting in their third year, TUSPM students will complete several months of clinical training working with institute specialists.聽聽聽聽
Gait Study Center
A state-of-the-art research laboratory dedicated to studying lower extremity biomechanics. Clinicians at the explore how foot type biomechanics relate to human movement and disability, with special attention to alignment, dynamic function, and footwear technologies.
Surgical Skills Lab
TUSPM鈥檚 Surgical Skills Lab is a designated campus workspace that facilitates the development and advancement of podiatric surgical skills including AO fixation;聽injection;聽nail procedure;聽percutaneous wire fixation;聽sagittal saw;聽suturing; and other principles, skills and techniques. The lab can accommodate up to 30 students across all levels of learning at any time and features supplementary audio-visual equipment to magnify individual techniques on large screens. Students are welcome to participate in the industry-sponsored cadaveric and other surgically based workshops and courses that are hosted at the lab.
